Many people who have purchased the books have asked me why I undertook such a project. There are two main reasons I started Yellow Brick Basketball.

The first is is to raise money to help fight Cancer. Probably every one of us knows someone whose life has been changed because of Cancer. The two most important people in my life were diagnosed with the disease. That is why proceeds from every book sold go to the Coaches vs. Cancer fund of The American Cancer Society. It is my hope that this book reaches inside of us. It is my hope that these books appeal to our love of basketball and to our human spirit.

The second to hopefully give back to the coaching community some of what I have been lucky enough to learn and experience from some of the best coaches in the world. It’s an honor to work in a profession where coaches are so willing to share their knowledge and teach others their philosophies of the game.
