YELLOW BRICK PRO WORKOUT CAMP
Yellow Brick Pro Camp is a one of a kind, weeklong basketball camp specially designed for current professional and high level college basketball players. The emphasis of camp is improving each player’s offensive game. 90% of camp is devoted to improving each player’s ability to score the ball and make plays on the offensive end of the floor. The training incorporates position specific skill development, daily pro style 5 on 5 play, as well as strength and conditioning. The camp is run by Ryan Krueger, a former NBA assistant coach and personal skill trainer of Richard Jefferson (San Antonio Spurs).
In the morning session, campers are broken down by position for 2 hours of position specific skill work. Guards will focus on pick and roll play, dribble moves, stationary play (“jab”series & footwork), using screens, and more. Bigs will focus on post play, pick and roll play, face up series (“jab”series & footwork), and more.
Immediately following the morning session, the weight room will be available for all players to get a lift in. Workout programs will be available to players. Players may also choose to continue with a program they are currently using or follow a program from their coaches or strength & conditioning coach. The evening session is where everything is put together.
The evening session consists of live 5 on 5 games in which each team has their own coach. This is where players will learn and run pro style and NBA sets. Players will be taught NBA sets, correct pro-style spacing, and proper defensive rotations (including pick and roll situations). Emphasis will be placed on incorporating individual skills from the morning session into game action, in a pro-style offense.
Only 15 players per session will be accepted. Sessions will fill up quickly with limited space, as well as the fact that we must have an even distribution of size and positions in each session.
